What is YLC Wednesday at the Square?
YLC Wednesday at the Square is a free, 12-week concert series with food and drink for sale to benefit the Young Leadership Council. Local artisans also sell their work in the Artist Village near the Camp Street entrance.
YLC Wednesday at the Square is located at Lafayette Square on St. Charles Avenue in the CBD across from Gallier Hall. For more specific directions, see the map below.
Rain or Shine! The concerts will go on!!
Time & Dates:
March 11 – June 10, 2015 from 5-8 PM
Parking is available at metered spots around the downtown area. Please pay the meter or you will be ticketed! There’s also a number of downtown office buildings that have open parking garages for a fee.
Cost & Tickets:
Supported by our sponsors and food and drink sales, we are able to offer the concert series free to attendees. Did you know that food and drink tickets may be purchased in advance?
Food and Drink:
Please remember this is a fundraiser, and do not bring outside food or drinks. Concession sales keep it free! All food and beverage is available for purchase using tickets. Tickets can be purchased at each concert, or you can order them online!
Attention: Pet Owners:
For the protection of our YLC Wednesday at the Square patrons, all pets must be kept on a leash with a maximum length of 6 feet at all times. Animals exhibiting aggressive behavior are not permitted. Owners are asked to immediately remove an animal that exhibits aggressive behavior. By entering the concert area, owners agree to be solely liable for the actions of their pets. If we find your pet to be a risk to other patrons, you will be asked to leave.
