The YLC
Wednesday at the Square Ninth Annual Concert Series

For the sixth consecutive year,
the Hancock Bank presents YLC Wednesday at the
Square concert series will host an Artist Village.
The twelve week series will again be held
in Lafayette Square across from Gallier
Hall.
For a flat-rate price of ninety
dollars ($90) per week, or $1,080 if you commit
to the entire 12-week series, you can display
your work, conduct live demonstrations, and/or
sell pieces to our audience of up to 6,000 people
every week. You will receive space with electricity
(if needed), tables, and chairs (we’ll provide
a banner for the village, but not individual booths).
You bring your white 10’x10’
pop-up tent (no exceptions), decorate your booth,
provide display hardware for your artwork, bring
tabletop signage and promotional materials, and
staff your booth. Additionally, each artist will
receive 10 (6 food, 4 drink) tickets good for
purchase of food and drink per event.
YLC Wednesday at the Square attracts
an audience of downtown professionals with a desirable
demographic – male and female administrative
to management level professionals, middle to upper
income, ages 25-55 years. It also draws weekly
diehards from as far away as the Northshore, Mississippi,
and St. James Parish. Last year’s crowds
set attendance records, and this year’s
response is expected to be similar.
There are limited spaces available
for artist booths. When they sell out, we will
not make additional space. Please hurry so that
you don’t miss this opportunity to be a
part of YLC Wednesday at the Square!
